As with training in any field, or specialty, there are going to be events where you can mix and mingle with the elite in your field. . .

Throughout my martial arts career and training, I took advantage of every opportunity to attend and participate in as many tournaments and conferences as possible. This allowed me to showcase my skills, see what others had to offer, and enhance my perspective of what others found successful in practice and application.

I feel that this applies to whatever you do, whatever occupation, or passion. There are groups of others whom you can share and learn with and from.

Internet marketing is no exception. On the contrary, this offers an especially unique opportunity to meet with in person, and interact with some folks whom you have otherwise only known virtually, on the Internet.

So keep your eyes open for those events, meetings and conferences. Attend as many as you can. Be prepared to learn as well as share, and you might just find a perfect match for a partner or team member for your online enterprise.

When I reflect on some of the big names and heavy hitters (no-pun intended) in the martial arts world whom I have been fortunate enough to meet and learn from over the years, I can directly attribute that priceless benefit to my development and understanding, to taking action and getting myself to those events.

Perfect practice, makes perfect. Once again I am reminded of several lessons in hitting my targets. …

I found recurring consistencies which reinforce a simple concept, which is one of the most powerful lessons, that I believe can be learned. “If you believe you can do something, you can.”

John Delavera sent out an email with the statement included: “Do you (want to) believe in YOUR success?”, which spawned a spark of intensity within me. I believe the message was sent to all of his Turbo Members. He reflects on an article of his which he wrote in 2003, called “I Have a Vision“. He then goes on to speak of an interview with Tony Robbins, Frank Kern and John Reese in his blog post. This is hugely powerful stuff John is referring to.  (the link to the Tony Robbins video is in John’s blog post)

Master Ric Pascetta, and Head of AGKAI (American Gojo Karate Association International) and my Teacher (Sensei) in Martial Arts, also teaches the same exact thing. From picking a target in your mind, to then taking action first, and letting the body, naturally follow.

This lesson has been with me from my early beginnings in martial arts, right up to highly advanced training, and all in between. Such as a skip-step front kick executed purely by belief and choice of action, landing perfectly. Even more recently, Master Pascetta provided me a lesson which I understood on a level so much more fundamental and universal, than the many times I previously was exposed to it. And the lesson consisted completely of a blank piece of white paper, with a black marker spot in the center. Just a spot drawn with a regular sharpie. Simple.

By physically hitting this dot, my mind is conditioned to hit it again successfully, and duplicate the result, no matter where that dot may move to, or pop up in the future. By training my mind, so vividly, over and over, I am able to execute the same result at will. Mark Joyner calls it step #3: Hit It (Until You Hit It) in his Scientific Formula for Success, found through his Simpleology 101 Course.

If we can’t see our target, we cannot ever hit it accurately. Even when action is taken. But when we envision hitting our target successfully, over and over, then we can envision hitting it perfectly, and when we perform the action later on, we can actually hit it… perfectly!

• How does this visualization of “peak state”, as Tony Robbins calls it, work so well?

• Why does Master Pascetta offer a dot on an otherwise blank sheet of paper as a superior technique for expert black belts?

Because we condition ourselves to achieve our mission, hit our targets, and conquer our goals. Whether it’s throwing a punch, or launching a product website, or creating a product to sell or giveaway. If we condition ourselves that we will do it, and do it perfectly… we will.

Manifest the action it takes to hit your targets, with belief in your perfect execution of action, and you will hit your goals, every time.

 I have created this as a central location for Martial Artisits and Internet Marketers alike. Why the two? Well, mostly because of my background and experiences in both.

Being a battle hardened martial artist for umpteen years now, I have learned that the philosophy of practicing martial arts, run consistent with so many aspects of life.

Being a marketer for even more years, I have also discovered that in business, as in life, there are many particular principles which accelerate you toward being a successful entrepreneur.

So, the blending of the two was inevitable for me. And I am continually inspired by the consistent discoveries I find between each and within the practice of both.

My goal here, is to share what I have learned so far, and grow together with like-minded individuals who understand each or both. I believe there are some incredible lessons ahead, and just as I have become a truly better practitioner in martial arts, by instructing others, I see an even greater potential here, by assisting internet marketers in the same way.
